Privacy Policy

SLAKE is a brand of Lakshvi Ventures. We’re a small team, and we treat the details you share with us the way we’d want ours treated: collected only when needed, used only for the reason you gave them, and never sold. This policy explains what we collect through getslake.com, why, and the choices you have. It is written with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in mind.
Who we are
Lakshvi Ventures, House No 9-1-300, Plot No. 300, Mani Nagar, Financial District, Hyderabad, Telangana – 500046, India (“SLAKE”, “we”, “us”). We decide how your personal data is used on this website.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us through our forms:
- Early access and can reservations — your name, email address, mobile number, city, preferred flavour and quantity.
- Trade enquiries — your name, venue name, work email, mobile number, city, venue type and any message you include.
- Emails and messages — anything you send us at care@getslake.com, by phone or through Instagram.
When you submit a form we also record the date and time, the page you were on, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, which we use only to prevent spam. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information such as your browser type and the pages you view, to keep the site secure and running well. This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we’ll update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Why we use it
- To hold your reservation and confirm availability, delivery and price before anything is charged.
- To respond to trade enquiries, arrange tastings and share trade terms.
- To send you early-access news and launch updates, if you asked to hear from us.
- To answer your questions and feedback.
- To keep our website secure and meet our legal obligations.
We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form or write to us. You can withdraw that consent at any time, and it will be as easy as giving it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with the service providers who help us run SLAKE — our website and email host, and delivery partners when you’ve reserved cans — and only as much as they need to do that job. They are required to keep it secure and use it only on our instructions. We may also disclose information if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep your details only for as long as we need them for the purpose you shared them — typically up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them longer (for example, invoices and tax records).
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct, complete or update it;
- delete it, or stop sending you updates;
- withdraw your consent;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.
Write to us at care@getslake.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. Every update email also includes a way to unsubscribe.
Grievances
If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your data, please contact our grievance contact at care@getslake.com or +91 98854 32145. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
SLAKE is crafted for grown-ups and is not recommended for children. This website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has shared their details with us, please let us know and we’ll delete them.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the responsibility seriously and will notify you and the authorities of any breach as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as SLAKE grows. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top, and if the changes are significant we’ll let you know by email.
